I am an economist and PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota. I will be moving to Australia in August, and am open to academic, research, and policy-oriented job opportunities.

I focus on the intersection of labor economics, urban economics, and public policy. My goal is to identify the most pressing challenges faced by cities, regions, and countries, and to find policy solutions that generate widespread increases in well-being.

I am the founder of Epic Econ - a weekly newsletter providing local economic insights to help curious citizens and aspiring leaders make their cities more epic. Check it out here!

Finally, I am a Research Analyst at the Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute (OIGI) at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis* and the Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation. I hold a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Georgetown University, an MS in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and was formerly an economist in the Current Population Survey (CPS) Office of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
